Developer John Fleming (57) hails from Seven Heads Peninsula in West Cork. He founded the Fleming Group in 1975. It acquired Tivway in 2006.
Mr Fleming’s construction group has been involved in a large number of industrial and pharmaceutical projects over the years, as well as civil and marine engineering developments across the country.
The group has also developed a number of hotels and resorts including the Radisson in Limerick, the Lodge and Spa at Inchydoney Island and the Fota Island golf course and Sheraton Hotel in Cork.
In recent years, Fleming began making an impact on the Dublin market as well, and was involved in developing apartments in Stepaside and Sandyford.
In 2000, he started an offsite construction business called Fusion, with the aim of supplying steel frames in Ireland and expanding into the UK.
According to information available from the Companies Office, Mr Fleming currently holds some 38 directorships.
