Belfast centre to provide 250 jobs

A £3.9 million sterling (€6

A £3.9 million sterling (€6.5 million) telemarketing and sales centre opened in West Belfast yesterday will provide 250 jobs. The Insurance Advisory Service (IAS) call centre at Springvale Business Park was announced in June and 120 of the planned 250 jobs are already in place.

The North's Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, Sir Reg Empey, said IAS would enhance Northern Ireland's growing reputation as a first-class location for financial services and customer communications operations.
