Bookmakers Paddy Power has announced a new partnership agreement with the NTL Group to provide an interactive betting service on NTL's interactive television service in the UK.

It is expected that the company's interactive betting service, based on its Internet betting business, paddypower.com, will be operational from early 2001. Paddy Power has also announced the appointment of Mr Peter O'Grady Walshe and Mr Ian Armitage as non-executive directors.
