Cardbase Technologies will shed 17 jobs as part of a revised business plan to streamline operations and reduce costs. The Dun Laoghaire provider of smart card solutions for secure e-commerce has 135 staff. The firm's Dublin office will lose nine jobs, and the Belfast office a further eight. The firm said the plan would enable it to reach profitability ahead of target.
