Colliers International is planning to expand its Irish business with the addition of a Dublin-based property and facility management firm, Ganly Walters Management Ltd. Seven experienced staff have transferred to Colliers, increasing its Dublin team to over 40.

Established in 2005 and owned and operated by Peter Moloney and Gerry Butler, GWML has a portfolio of some 1.5 million sq ft of offices, retail and residential property under management. As a result of the move, Colliers in Ireland will now manage a largely commercial portfolio of some 3.6 million sq ft with an asset value of over €480 million.

The staffing will extend to eight property and facility managers and six account managers.

Declan Stone, managing director of Colliers International, said the new partnership was a very obvious fit for them as the existing client base and services provided by GWML were complimentary and would enhance the quality and depth of services offered.
