The overall take-up of industrial space in the Dublin market in the first three months of this year was down 52 per cent on the same quarter last year.
The volume of space transacted was 21,771sq m (262,939 sq ft) across 33 deals.
There were no deals greater than 3,312 sq m (40,000 sq ft).
Sales accounted for 65 per cent of total take-up, according to JLL.
Hannah Dwyer of the agency said occupiers were increasingly purchasing space, particularly secondary and tertiary space, for their own occupation. This was to avail of the low capital values for non-prime space across the sector.
