Former Siac sites in Portarlington, Co Laois, have come on the market through CBRE quoting €600,000. The four sites, which come to about nine acres, are about 2km from the town centre.
One lot of 4.13 acres on the corner of Lea Road, close to the junction of Canal Road, has full planning permission for 66 residential units. The planning permission is not due to expire until April 2018.
A second lot of 0.66 acres has a two-storey office building of 449sq m (4,833sq ft) and is rented to Triest House under a short-term lease, at €30,000 a year. This site has full planning permission for a 464sq m office building.
The third lot of 3.55 acres has a vacant warehouse building of 6,470sq m (69,642sq ft) and two ancillary storage buildings, while the fourth lot of 0.67 acres is opposite the former Siac buildings to the north of Lea Road.
