An infill site with planning permission for seven good-sized apartments opposite Uncle Tom’s Cabin public house at Dundrum Road in Dublin 14, has been sold for €801,000 – more than €100,000 above the guide price.

Vincent Finnegan Commercial handled the sale of Rosemount Cottage, a house on 0.21 of an acre on the Milltown side of the Dundrum Road. The permission allows for the demolition of the old house and its replacement by seven apartments, six of them two-bedroom units with a floor area of 78sq m (840sq ft) and one three-bed penthouse with a floor space of 130sq m (1,400sq ft). There will be parking for 11 cars.
