Second-hand sales concept

UK technology and entertainment retailer CeX (complete entertainment exchange) is to open its eight Irish outlet at the former 02 store at Williamsgate Street in Galway. The firm’s business model is based on the buying and selling of second-hand games, DVDs, computing, electronics and mobile phones.

CeX will pay a rent of €80,000 per annum for 1221sq m (1,300sq ft) over ground and basement. Ciara Connolly of DTZ, who advised CeX, said the idea was especially relevant now with all stores trading above expectations. Hugh Market of Lisney acted for 02.
