Thursday the 17th will be a busy day for former United Nations secretary general Kofi Annan and former president of Ireland Mary Robinson.

In the evening, they will attend the Business & Finance awards at the Convention Centre, but it won’t be their only gig. The Department of Foreign Affairs also recently sent out invitations to an afternoon symposium that day at Iveagh House to mark the 60th anniversary of Ireland’s membership of the UN.

Annan and Robinson will attend, along with former taoiseach Liam Cosgrave and former Goldman Sachs International chairman Peter Sutherland.
