Roy boy and Martin to give lessons in management

Soccer duo for National Management Conference

Martin O’Neill: will give personal leadership lessons
Martin O’Neill: will give personal leadership lessons

I hear there will be an announcement next week that Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane, the Batman and Robin of Irish football, will speak at the Irish Management Institute's National Management Conference at the organisation's Sandyford base on October 9th.

The national team's management duo will join speakers including Nilofer Merchant, a former Apple executive, Tim Harford, an FT columnist, and Shane O'Mara, a Trinity neuroscientist.

The football duo will address delegates at the Eircom-sponsored conference about “their personal leadership lessons and developing and managing top talent”. Or - O’Neill will make them laugh and scary Keane will make them cry.

About 300 are expected to attend, which is possibly similar enough to the number of fans who showed up at the Aviva on Wednesday evening to cheer on the Ireland team for a friendly international.

Oman, is right.
