The National Digital Research Centre (NDRC) is on the hunt for start-ups to take part in science venture accelerator VentureLab.
NDRC VentureLab is targeted at enabling ventures that are commercialising science, technology and intellectual property with high potential for success.
The six month acceleration programme begins in early 2015, and each new business taking part will receive investment of up to €100,000.
NDRC chief executive Ben Hurley said VentureLab will benefit anybody who has developed technologies or has engaged in science-based research that has an opportunity to be directed towards a commercial solution.
“Through our investment and the related programme NDRC provides mentoring, business insight and commercialisation expertise that will progress ventures to a stage where they are investor-ready,” he added.
