Connect Electronics has paid €3.1 million (£2.44 million) for Notebook Express, a UK distributor of portable computing devices. Dublin-based Connect, a distributor of electronic components, said it was evaluating two other potential British targets and was in discussions with potential partners about joint ventures in the US and Europe.
