Davy Stockbrokers have asked us to point out that their charges for the sale of Telecom shares on amounts up to £4,000 are £10.00 for people with share certificates and £12.50 for nominee accounts - the latter amount includes a third party charge. For amounts in excess of this, a charge of 0.5 per cent is levied on the balance of the shares being sold. Bloxham stockbrokers charge £31.50 on deals up to £5,000 and 0.5 per cent on the balance.
