On Tuesday, Daft.ie published its latest rent report, revealing that supply is at its lowest ebb, pushing prices up across the country.

In Dublin’s city centre, the average rent is now €1,455 a month, up by 8.3 per cent on the year, while on the southside, rents are higher at €1,581 a month. Unsuprrisingly then, availability in Dublin remains very low, with just 1,100 homes on the market at the start of May, compared to an average of 3,800 in the years 2006-15.

This makes it a particularly difficult market in which to find an appropriate - and reasonably priced - property. Below we take a look at three of the cheapest - and most expensive - properties currently available on the Dublin market.
