The Central Bank of Ireland has issued a warning to consumers about a firm not authorised to provide financial services in Ireland.

Hamilton International Group (USA) joins the list of unauthorised firms who have had their names published by the Central Bank since 1998. There are 210 names currently on the list, which is available from the Central Bank’s website.

It is a criminal offence to provide financial services in Ireland without the authorisation of the Central Bank, and consumers who deal with such a firm are not eligible for compensation from the Investor Compensation Scheme.
