Irish tech firm PFS teams up with PayTop in France

Partnership extended to supporting French institution Banque Palatine

Meath-based technology firm Prepaid Financial Services has teamed up with French fintech company PayTop to provide multi-currency payment services for new partner Banque Palatine.

The Irish company, which provides payment technology solutions including e-wallets, physical and virtual prepaid cards, and IBAN accounts in the UK and the euro zone, has also seen its technology used in partnerships with financial institutions Attijariwafa Bank, Crédit Agricole and insurance company, Macif to provide white label payment solutions.

"With each new alliance with traditional banks and insurance firms, we are pushing the boundaries of what is achievable for the future of financial technology innovation," said Noel Moran, chief executive of PFS.

PFS is active in 24 countries and supports 22 currencies.

PayTop is part of Truffle Capital’s technology portfolio, and has established itself as a key player in the in the French fintech market.

"Our alliance with PFS has allowed us to successfully support Banque Palatine and three other leaders in financial services and insurance in France, " said PayTop chief executive Julien Letourneux. "This has in turn served to enhance the impact of financial technology challengers across the country."
