Dublin-based accountancy firm MKO has joined forces with leading US firm EisnerAmper to form a new global accountancy network called EisnerAmper Global.
MKO, which employs 65 staff here and has the Department of Finance, Central Bank and Nama among its clients, is to rebrand as EisnerAmper Ireland.
EisnerAmper is the biggest US accounting firm outside the "big four" and employs more than 2,000 staff in New York, San Francisco and Philadelphia.
MKO, which specialises in financial services, international trade and government contracts, has opened a London office and is hoping to add a member firm in Singapore.
"While we remain an independent Irish firm owned by our partners, it makes sense for us to work collegiality with our international colleagues under a single brand to clearly position our global offering to our clients and financial services markets," MKO managing partner Alastair Mac Donald said.
