The three-person tribunal that met earlier this week to resolve a dispute over working hours at the Central Bank has adjourned and is expected to deliver its proposals on October 22nd.
The dispute involves about 1,250 staff who are being asked to increase their working time to 37 hours a week.
This mirrors what is being asked of other public servants under the
Haddington Road
agreement.
At present, about 500 of these employees work just 32 hours a week. The changes will affect the professional and administrative grades within the bank.
