The Margin thinks that Forfas, the umbrella body charged with developing policy for industry in the Republic, should go to the top of the class. Last week it issued a survey, Research in the Higher Education Sector 1996. Yes, 1996! It is after all, 1999. Maybe a lot has not changed in three years.

Then again, maybe it has.

Apparently there was a delay in collecting and collating data, but it was decided to publish it anyway, for information purposes.
