The Fine Gael TD, Mr Gay Mitchell, has been appointed chief executive officer of the productivity improvement company, IMPAC. He is joining a team which is implementing a strategic plan which will assess the challenges and opportunities for the company's business which will be created by EU enlargement and EMU. IMPAC is a US-owned company that employs over 2,000 people worldwide.
