Network 365, an Irish firm which develops application platforms for mobile operators, won an award at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, France this week.

The firm, which is based in Wicklow, clinched the best wireless application developer award at the awards ceremony.

The 3GSM World Congress in Cannes is Europe's largest wireless trade show. It took place this week amid a serious slump in the sector which continues to depress mobile company's share prices.
