Following a three-way pitch, Publicis D has won the advertising account for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).

It’s the college’s first appointment of an advertising agency, and an indication of how competitive it is for third-level institutions operating in a highly-mobile, outcome-savvy student marketplace.

The other agencies invited to pitch were McCannBlue and OwensDDFH&B.

The three agencies which made it on to the shortlist all have international connections reflecting the college’s reach – a significant number of its student body come from abroad.
