Financial losses sustained by Belfast shipyard Harland & Wolff have sent its parent company into the red. In the last three months the shipyard has lost around £11 million (€14 million), which Olsen Energy said was due to the cost of redundancies and under-use of facilities. Olsen said it had agreed to fund the yard until the end of January, when it is expected to break even. The company still has not finalised a contract to build four passenger craft.
