Is William Fry still Dublin's brainiest business? We will find out on January 22nd, when the business-backed Soul of Haiti charity holds its annual corporate challenge – a posh table quiz won last year by the firm – at the Aviva stadium.
Last year's event raised €90,000 for the charity, whose directors include Bord Bia chairman Michael Carey, Neil O'Leary of Ion Equity and Gift Voucher Shop chief executive Michael Dawson. Companies can buy tables for €800 or €1,500 for two. You'll be 'fed and wathered'.
The quizmasters comprise the motley crew of Leinster rugby captain Leo Cullen, celebrity chef Clodagh McKenna, Après Match comedian Barry Murphy, Insomnia Coffee's Bobby Kerr and Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin. Apparently, clever clogs legal eagles dominated the top prizes last year. Such outrage cannot be allowed to continue. Sign up at www.soulofhaiti.ie
