Irish electronics design company Silicon and Software Systems Limited (S3) opened its design facility in Ballybrit, Co Galway, yesterday. The second phase of its development in Galway, already under way, will be completed by the end of 2001. By then, the firm hopes to employ 100 people in Galway. S3 offers high technology silicon and software design services to the international electronics industry.
