CAP Gemini, a computer services and business consultancy, will launch a campaign next week in an effort to entice up to 200 information technology specialists to its payroll. The company, the largest of its kind in Europe, has a strategic partnership with the Oracle software company since last year, and is building up its skills base in Oracle applications. It employs 70 people at its Dublin premises.
A series of workshops will be held in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast from Monday to attract the computer specialists. A spokeswoman said there were was "a huge demand" for people with Oracle experience, and that recruits could choose whether to work in Ireland, Europe or the US.
