Fifty-five new jobs at two software businesses were announced yesterday

Fifty-five new jobs at two software businesses were announced yesterday. US firm Streamserve is establishing a sales and customer service operation in Galway, creating 20 jobs with support from IDA Ireland.

Streamserve CEO Denis Ladd cited labour supply and the proximity to customers as the reasons for the choice.

American group Sajan officially opened its EMEA headquarters and RD centre, which will generate 35 new posts.
