AirSpeed Telecom has signed a three-year deal worth €250,000 with law firm William Fry.

Headquartered in Dublin, William Fry completed one of the largest office relocations in the capital in recent months, moving over 420 staff from Fitzwilton House to its new premises in Grand Canal Square.

AirSpeed Telecom successfully deployed a temporary network, connecting the old premises with the new site.

This allowed for the seamless transfer of all William Fry systems during a critical phase where continuity was crucial, according to AirSpeed chief Liam O’Kelly.

AirSpeed was also awarded the contract to design and deliver an MPLS network for William Fry.

"Huge volumes of traffic, sensitive data and mission-critical applications travel these lines. Down time is not an option," William Fry IT director Michael Devitt said.

AirSpeed Telecom provides business broadband services countrywide, notably in rural areas such as the Aran islands.

Its clients include RTÉ, Dairygold, Irish Distillers and VHI Healthcare.

Mr O’Kelly was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2014 European Business Awards.
