Al Mana Lifestyle acquires Cork-based Stream Solutions

Deal said to be worth in the region of €1 million and includes investment for growth

Al Mana Lifestyle, parent company of Apple premium reseller iConnect, has acquired Cork-based Stream Solutions.

The deal is worth in the region of €1 million and includes investment for growth over the next twelve months.

Al Mana Lifestyle general manager John McEvoy said the deal will help further expand iConnect’s retail network in Ireland. The Apple premium reseller launched its European operations here last year with the opening of two stores in Liffey Valley and Whitewater shopping centres.

The Apple authorised training centre within Stream Solutions will enable iConnect to offer in-house training in all aspects of Apple technology.

Stream Solutions founder Gerard Allen has been appointed general manager of the newly-merged entity. A former Apple employee, he established Stream Solutions in 2004 in response to the market's demands for support and training in the integration of Apple products and solutions.

Stream currently has ten employees. However, this figure is set to increase over the next two years as the company plans to expand its operations throughout the Republic and Northern Ireland.
