The zombie thriller has come to the PS Vita, and while it's not perfect, it certainly has its moments. If you've already played this on the PS3 there's little new here. The game is essentially the same but on a smaller screen. It's a recreation of the PS3 game, so you know what to expect: a top-down shooter and a zombie apocalypse that is trying to turn you. To halt the advance of the undead, you're given an array of weapons to choose from (some more useful than others) and the ability to upgrade them as you progress through the game. The plot remains the same: track down the body of patient zero to help a slightly suspect doctor create a cure for the zombie outbreak. As one of the few humans immune to the virus, infection may not be a massive concern for you, but getting chomped on by zombies is another consideration altogether. The small screen has its drawbacks. The atmosphere of the PS3 version is replicated here but that moody tone can make it hard to see where the next attack is coming from until it's too late. Flawed but fun.
