English Premier League club Queens Park Rangers has agreed a deal with Dublin-based digital media firm Fantom that will see the Irish firm build an app for the football club’s fans.
The branded sticker album app is intended to help drive interaction between fans and the club, while also giving QPR another way to sell tickets and other merchandise.
The HTML5-based sticker album, which will be available on the club’s Facebook page, allows fans to swap and collect stickers based on QPR’s management and players, earning themselves rewards.
QPR is the first Premier League club to sign up to the deal.
Fantom already works with organisations such as the UK Science Museum and sports franchises such as Hulk Hogan’s Impact wrestling.
“We are delighted to be working with QPR, a fantastic club and a progressive one too,” Fantom CEO Paul Healy said.
