Google's version of Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote has arrived on iOS as a standalone app, giving users the ability to create a slide show on the fly. However, I'm not sure it's knuckling in on Microsoft territory because although it is pretty useful, it is only up to a certain point. It's great for editing PowerPoint slides but only if you need to edit text; there's no way of adding images or editing them beyond basic resizing. The same goes for creating slides from scratch – it's text only and no fancy stuff. The best thing is that all the PowerPoint and Slides files saved on Google Drive are at your disposal ready to edit and share, or even jointly edit.
