The company already has expertise in digital, cloud, cyber security, and managed IT as well as Enterprise Resource Planning and customer relationshio management software. The deal with Green Duck will enhance its cloud and cyber security offerings.

“With the advent of hybrid working and the ever-changing cyber threat landscape, the acquisition of Green Duck provides Xperience with the opportunity to expand significantly in this area,” said Iain O’Kane, managing director of Xperience. “Green Duck is a natural fit for our business with a similar culture and values. Over the last two decades the team has demonstrated a commitment to innovation, and a strong track-record in client satisfaction. As part of Xperience, Green Duck will be able to access investment, a broader range of technical services, our dedicated Cloud service, plus a business that serves both the UK and Ireland.”

Following the completion of the deal, Xperience’s staff numbers will increase to 123, with annual turnover reaching £16 million. Xperience recently invested £1.5 million in its Lisburn operation, adding 16 jobs.

"As part of Xperience, our clients will continue to benefit from the services of Green Duck, while gaining access to a broader range of expertise and solution," said Green Duck chief executive Rod Jackson. "It is a great opportunity to provide our clients with a wider portfolio of solutions from a single supplier with a proven track record".
