You know what your smart home set-up needs? More buttons. And more hubs. Definitely more hubs. Can't get enough of those. Luckily then that Logitech is ready to step into the breach with the Logi Pop, a device that will control your smart home devices at the press of a button. You might look at the Logi Pop Home Switch and think that it resembles that old-school invention, the light switch. And it does, but apparently it does a lot more than that.

Hub needed

It’s not just about pressing it; you can assign different functions to a tap, a double tap or a long press. Because it connects to other systems like WeMo and SmartThings, you could assign all sorts of functions to those commands, including triggering music playlists and putting on a light show. But it needs a hub, and that means yet another thing to plug into your living room. Plus it costs $100 for the starter pack and each button is an extra $40. logitech.com
