Feast your eyes on this. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium means business. Introduced ahead of IFA in Berlin, the phone comes with a 4K display that works out at 807 pixels per inch. In case you're wondering, that's pretty sharp. Sony has improved the camera, bumping the resolution up to 23 megapixels for the rear camera and adding effects such as augmented reality that will give you a laugh when you're adding cat faces to your friends in photographs.

But where's all the 4K content, you ask? Well apart from Netflix and what you create yourself, the handset will upscale any content you're playing on the device to boost the quality. It's not quite native 4K, but it will look better than high definition. Despite the 5.5-inch display, the phone promises good battery life – about two days if you bring in the low power mode that will eke out another few hours of juice.
