The first North/South Ministerial Council in the Tourism sectoral format has agreed the setting up of a cross-Border tourism company which will include representatives from Bord Failte, the Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) and tourism interests North and South.
The company will receive two thirds of its funding from the South and one third from the North.
