DAA appoints Kevin Cullinane as head of communications

New chief previously did same job for Cork Airport

DAA has confirmed Kevin Cullinane as group head of communications at the State company responsible for Cork and Dublin airports.

Before taking on this role, Mr Cullinane was head of communications for Cork Airport for seven years, having previously been its head of aviation marketing.

He is currently chairman of the Airport Council International (ACI) Europe communications forum, to which he was elected in February 2020.

Mr Cullinane sits on the regional executive committee of employer’s lobby group Ibec, has been a member of Cork Chamber’s transport, infrastructure and public affairs committee. He also served as a director of regional toursim body, Visit Cork.

In 2005, Mr Cullinane served as world president of Junior Chamber International, the worldwide organisation of young business managers and entrepreneurs.

He is an honours business studies graduate in marketing from the University of Limerick.
