WATERFORD Wedgwood has announced the allotment of shares to directors as part of its profit sharing scheme

WATERFORD Wedgwood has announced the allotment of shares to directors as part of its profit sharing scheme. Chief executive, Mr Redmond O'Donoghue director, Dr Paddy Galvin and company secretary, Mr J B Morgan, have each acquired 1145 company shares at 70.28p, the company disclosed yesterday.

It has also granted options to director Mr CJS Johnson and four directors of its holding company, Waterford Wedgwood UK. Mr Johnson received options over 350,000 shares. The other four directors were granted options over 250,000 shares.
