Dublin Theatre Festival returns from September 25th to October 12th across Dublin.
The 2025 programme which features both a renewed focus on international companies bringing work to Ireland, and excellent work from some of Ireland’s most exciting theatre artists, explores the big conversations happening across the world right now. The programme features electrifying theatre by some of the great artists of the world, who will light up stages and spaces across Dublin with work from Peru, Ukraine, Scotland, England, France, Poland, Belgium, India and Spain. This is a truly international festival of ambitious, contemporary work.
This year’s festival takes great pride in centring the stories and experiences of D/deaf people, neurodivergent people, and people with disabilities in productions including Hamlet, Deaf Republic, Her Father’s Voice, The Making of Pinocchio, What Are You Afraid Of?, My Right Foot and Konstantin. New ways of experiencing the world we live in are opened up with great sensitivity and imagination.

Her Father’s Voice
Shane O’Reilly fuses theatre, opera and film in a bold and ambitious new work, Her Father’s Voice. A young girl is about to have cochlear implant surgery as her parents’ wrestle with the weight of their choices in this contemporary family drama. Her Father’s Voice will run at O’Reilly Theatre, Belvedere College from 1-5 Oct.

Be Careful
At Project Arts Centre, Be Careful, from Mallika Taneja (India) is a performance work that challenges the notion of safety. Rooted in anger about the everyday violence against women, the show questions the burden of responsibility placed on women to ensure they are not attacked in public space.
The winner will receive two tickets for Be Careful at Project Arts Centre (Cube) on Thurs 9 Oct at 7.45pm.
Pieces of a Woman
Set against the backdrop of present-day Warsaw, 30-year-old Maja comes to terms with a traumatic loss. Pieces of a Woman is from the writer (Kata Wéber) and director (Kornél Mundruczó) behind the award-winning hit Netflix film adaptation; witness the Irish stage premiere from TR Warszawa Poland. Pieces of a Woman will run at O’Reilly Theatre, Belvedere College from 10-11 Oct.

There will be one winner.
- All prizes will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize to the Promoter. The dates of the tickets are not transferrable and cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by the acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize, save for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
- The winners will be notified by email. The winner must claim the prize within 30 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Promotion rules.
- Where a winner has successfully claimed the prize, the Promoter shall dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize to the winner at the earliest opportunity. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted as placing an obligation on the Promoter to dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize within a specified period of time.
- The Promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

- The winner may be required to participate in unpaid publicity arising from this promotion.
