Win a pair of tickets and a champagne lunch to the Grade 1 Ballymore Novice Hurdle and Winter Best Dressed Competition at Naas Racecourse on Sunday, January 4th, 2026. The Grade 1 race day is Naas Racecourse’s flagship race meeting and the opening card of the 2026 calendar at the Kildare track.

Renowned fashion presenter and stylist Marietta Doran will head up the fashion judging panel for the Best Dressed Competition which is open to both ladies and gents and the judges want people to embrace colour and accessories and to dress for the day and the weather! The Fraser Group, which has a fabulous department store located at the Whitewater Shopping Centre in Newbridge, Co. Kildare along with Kilkea Castle in Co. Kildare, will sponsor the fashion prizes on the day. The Best Dressed person will win a €2,000 gift card for Frasers, a two-night stay in a Kilkea Castle for two people with dinner in the beautiful 1180 Restaurant and get their chance to enjoy archery, air rifle shooting and golf. There are also €100 Frasers gift cards up for grabs for second and third place.

On Sunday, January 4th, 2026, every adult racegoer attending Naas Racecourse has the chance to enter into a special draw for the €10,000 prize. A sweepstake will take place on the day, with names drawn for each horse in one of the races. The racegoer whose name is paired with the winning horse will walk away with €10,000 – a prize of a lifetime.

Racegoers are encouraged to arrive early on the day for a special edition of Paddy Power “From The Horse’s Mouth Live”, hosted by Tom Nugent and featuring a stellar panel that includes former jockeys and well-known racing pundits Ruby Walsh and Fran Berry.

  5. All entries must be received by the Promotor by no later than midnight on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

  7. By submitting an entry to the Promotor, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  10. The prize is two tickets to the Grade 1 Ballymore Novice Hurdle Day on Sunday, January 4th, 2026 at Naas Racecourse and a VIP Champagne lunch in the Panoramic Restaurant. There will be one winner.
  11. All prizes will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize to the Promoter. This prize can be is only available on Sunday, January 4th, 2026 and cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.
  12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by the acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize, save for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  13. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
  14. The winners will be notified by email. The winner must claim the prize before Saturday, January 3rd, 2026. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Promotion rules.
  15. Where a winner has successfully claimed the prize, the Promoter shall dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize to the winner at the earliest opportunity. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted as placing an obligation on the Promoter to dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize within a specified period of time.
  16. The Promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. The winners’ details (name and county) will be made available on The Irish Times website.
  18. The winner may be required to participate in unpaid publicity arising from this promotion.

  20. Prizes are non transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  21. These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the Courts of the Republic of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
