A man in his eighties has died in a traffic collision in Co Cork.
The incident happened shortly after midday on the R585 Dunmanway Road near Bandon, Co Cork.
The man who died was the driver of one of the two cars involved in the collision.
He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. None of the other occupants required hospital treatment.

It brings to 81 the number of people killed on Irish roads so far this year, up 34 on last year.
The body of the man has been removed to the mortuary at Cork University Hospital and the local coroner has been notified.
The road at the crash site is being examined by Garda forensic collision investigators and local traffic diversions are in place.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward and to those with camera footage (including dashcam) to make it available to them.
