A man has been further remanded in custody having been charged with the murder of his daughter in New Ross, Co Wexford.
Mohammad Shaker Al Tamini (34), with an address of Lower William Street, New Ross, has also been charged with the attempted murder of the girl’s mother.
Malika Noor Al Kattib (8) died in University Hospital Waterford from her injuries on December 2nd last.
Mr Al Tamini is charged with the girl’s murder at Lower William Street, New Ross on the night of December 1st, and the attempted murder of her mother Aisha Al Katib.

The accused appeared via video link before Judge John Cheatle at Wexford District Court on Monday.
Sgt Victor Isdell applied for a further adjournment to allow for the preparation of the book of evidence. He asked for a one week adjournment to allow for Director of Public Prosecutions directions.
Solicitor for the accused Timothy Cummings said there were no objections to the application.
The accused was remanded in custody to appear via video link at Wexford District Court on Monday next, December 16th.
