Tyre marks left by a swerving vehicle on a rural road in Co. Roscommon. Prompted to return to Ireland after travelling with guerilla fighters across Syria and considering their similarities with senior survivors of our own War of Independence he has previously photographed, Seamus catches us off-guard with stolen moments of hard (and often comical) reality. These photographs tell stories beyond politics, beyond the media narrative and beyond agenda. A Republic is comprised of her people.
