An article headed "Wards of court lose rights and liberties" in yesterday's editions referred to the case of Mr Declan Heavey in the High Court this week in which he successfully contested an application to make him a ward of court. Contrary to any unintended implication that may have been in the article, The Irish Times accepts that no member of his family was a party to the application to make him a ward of court.
