Who doesn't love some minions? With Despicable Me back on the big screen, Minion Rush is in the same vein as Temple Run and Agent Dash. It's a perpetual runner, where you try to become the best minion you can possibly be and earn a nice shiny trophy into the bargain. You collect bananas as you run, avoiding obstacles around the factory such as lasers that fry you, trip hazards, explosives and, of course, other minions who also want to be Minion of the Week. You get a bonus for shoving other minions out of the way, but some are armed. The sound effects as you run are amusing, in true minion style, and I defy you not to laugh when your minion, zapped by a laser, hits your screen. Every so often you get a bonus – Gru's rocket, or a shield, for example – that aren't always as straightforward as they seem. This game doesn't really push any new boundaries but it's fun. gameloft.com
