Arcade Fire have confirmed they will play Malahide Castle on June 14th. As revealed by The Irish Times last week, the Canadian band will play the Dublin outdoor venue in their first appearance in the country since 2014's concert at Marlay Park . The band also announced a Belfast date on June 13th as part of the Belsonic Festival.
Tickets priced €69.50 go on sale at 9am on Friday.
Along with headlining this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival on June 9th, they will also play Manchester on June 6th.
Arcade Fire recently unveiled their first new track in two years , I Give You Power, a collaboration with Mavis Staples.
Hailing from Montreal, the band have won two Brits, two Grammys and their most recent album, 2013's Reflektor, reached No 1 in the UK, Canada, Ireland, Belgium, Portugal and the US.
