Madonna suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction at the Brit Awards after she was dragged off the stage by her own cloak.
The star appeared to fumble with a large cloak during her performance to close the Brits, held at the O2 Arena in London.
The cloak then seemed to be pulled backwards, making her fall to the floor while backing dancers looked on in shock.
She fell down three steps onto the floor before getting back on her feet to continue the performance.
Fans took to Twitter to show their support after the embarrassing slip-up.
User Louise Houghton wrote: "Big respect to Madonna BRITAwards for carrying on so professionally & giving an awesome performance. Please don't slate her."
Melanie Redmond tweeted: "Oh my god. Madonna. That fall. I feel so bad for you but you did sing about stumbling. And you really did more than that, you crash landed."
Another wrote: “I’m sweating with anxiety for the cape puller who will perish in the flames tonight.”
Earlier, the queen of pop was reported to have said she was “‘sh***ing herself” ahead of awards performance.
Earlier, Ed Sheeran took home the first gong of the night, picking up the Male Solo Artist prize at the glittering awards ceremony.
