Tickets for the Adele concerts in Dublin next year have sold out in three minutes on Friday morning, a spokesperson for MCD promotions confirmed.

People queued across the country to secure a pass to one of the four Irish gigs, which take place on February 29th and March 1st in the SSE Arena in Belfast and on March 4th and 5th in the 3 Arena in Dublin.

The Hello singer, who recently launched her new album 25, took to her Twitter account last Thursday to announce the news of her European tour, saying:

“I have been bluffing this whole time and I am so relieved to finally tell you I am of course having a tour, and I can’t wait to see you all very soon.”
