His new work is based on the graphic representation of data from radio telescopes looking deep into the cosmos.

SWAN LAKE ON ICE
The stage of the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre will be transformed into an ice rink for this week's production of Swan Lake on Ice. Twenty-six Olympic, world, European and national championship skaters mix high-speed leaps and throws with aerial gymnastics, acrobatics in a Tchaikovsky-inspired show that has been touring for eight years now. Aimed mostly at kids, this annual event will be celebrated on Thursday. Teachers can bring their pupils online ffor the "biggest book show on earth" streamed via worldbookday.com. CHILDREN’ S BOOK FESTIVAL
Don't be surprised if you bump into Humpty Dumpty or meet Cinderella on the streets in Sligo this weekend as characters from favourite children's tales will be wandering about as part of the town's first Children's Book Festival. Tall Tales Theatre will perform its adaptation of the award- winning book The Gruffalo's Child in the Hawk's Well Theatre today at 12.30pm and tomorrow at 11am and 2pm ( hawkswell.com).
